As I started planning my shoots for Vegas next year, I was reminded that I never ended up blogging my shoots from Vegas THIS year and that had to be fixed immediately! I brought Nicole to Mexico with me for some workshop fun and photoshoots! Well, we ended up doing a few shoots, but the main one for me was when we drove out to the dry lake bed at dusk and did this shoot in like 20 minutes. I was inspired by the harness set from Little Black Diamond and scoured the internet looking for a denim bikini (which apparently is in fashion now....)! I had found some thrifted western shirts and cowboy boots and we kicked up some dust! A Different Kind of Nude ~ Winnipeg Boudoir Photography
A crazy part of being a creative entrepreneur is that you need an outlet and the opportunity to try things you have never done before in an effort to keep you alive and passionate for the work you create for your clients. It's helpful to have an amazing team available when you need to get an idea out of your head and onto paper, film, computer, and this particular project was no different. I told Nicole, my fab makeup artist, to come to the studio because I had 3 ideas to play through and it was completely different for both of us from the makeup to the styling to the posing....definitely not my traditional boudoir. That being said, it turned out exactly the way I saw it in my head when I purchased a pair of nude panty hose. I am now inspired to try this same concept with multiple colors in the future, so it may be an ongoing adventure! In any case, here are the results of Look #1 (which cost me approximately $8 for the entire "outfit")

Making Magic ~ Winnipeg Boudoir Photographer
I really don't have too much to write about this particular session, aside from the fact that whenever I get the chance to work with Raissa & Kelly, it always turns out like magic. These 2 babes helped make my little rave/fairy/70s shoot come to life with the epic hair, the styling, and of course the modeling!
